The launch of EarthCARE in May 2024 received widespread media coverage, and was quickly followed by ESA and JAXA's "First Light" stories for the individual instruments and the first demonstration of the power of instrument synergy. There were many field campaigns in 2024, some described in ESA's EarthCARE campaign blog.
